Cybertext

I will be honest I was not excited to play the games in class because I'm really not a gamer. I was really just happy to have a free day in class LOL. Once I started watching people play and the discussion in class picked up I started to see the connections. A major connection between the two is the power to play the game or read the story how you choose. You can complete the mission however you like, but you will eventually reach a destination. I mean I still don't really like gaming unless it's Mario Kart, but I see the story line that a good game has. I think that a great hypertext right writes an outline of a story, but never a complete story. They let you make the decisions so it's like your story, your dream or fantasies. Hypertext is not just literature now, it's life. Hypertext is everywhere, more than we ever realize.

Hypertext In Education

The world is ever changing, things are always improving or new things are being invented. If the way you count can change how come the way you read can't change as well?

Hypertext is not very new, but it is becoming very popular and I believe eventually it will become a way of life. Already we have the hypertext genre, a class, but what if it becomes an entire curriculum? I believe that hypertext can become a way of life. A new way of educating. Hypertext gives you the freedom to come up with your own reasoning to why you believe something happened. In some cases you can even change the text which is giving the reader a lot of responsibility. With literature today you do not have that freedom and to be presented with that I think it is a great idea. It's also great preparation for the real world, after college.

Bubbling Ideas!

Snaps for me! I am reading the Hyperdyn introduction to creating a hypertext. I am now on the road to success! Thank goodness she showed us this in class because I never would have found it. I also have a great idea for my critical paper. I'm thinking about focusing on hypertext today and tomorrow. I will focus on education and it in society. I have a lot of ideas bubbling in my head. I think I'm going to get started pretty soon. I really rarely get excited about school projects, but this class excites me. I love the freedom and critical thinking. This class challenges my mind in so many ways, to think outside of the box! I love it!

Love Story

I am really into this now. I cant stop writing. My mind is really expanding, I am so excited to see the final product. I have so many scenerios on where to end, but I think it will all come back to one story. I mean no relationship is one layer, it is complex, just like this story will be. It is going to be a lot of work getting this all to go together. I am working on the high school years of the relationship now, I already did the wedding and her mistakes. I have not decided how long it is going to be, but it is not going to be easy.  I cannot wait until the workshops, because right now I do not know where to begin. I cant wait to see what everyone else has in store, because I dont want mine to be wrong.

i am so excited about my project. i am really getting into it. i have decided to do it on a love story of some sort. i am basing it off my relationship with my boyfriend, but a lot of changes and adds. the love they share will be based off of our relationship, but their problems and mistakes are not the same as ours. i have added a lot of dilemas, situations, and other aspects to mke the story juicy. i cant wait to see my final product. i am so nervous about the technology aspect of it though. its going to be hard when im not the most technology savvy person, but hopefully i will work it out. i have a lot of content and some great ideas. i just have to put them into play. so we will see how this goes. wish me luck.

hose of leaves

okay i was wrong, it does not get better. this is annoying. i mean just make it into a movie so i can follow this more. i like the traditional way of writing now. take me back. weird thing is i really want to get this and understand it because im intrigued.i have a need to understand this book. i keep going back and reading what i just read, but still nothing. i think it will eventually come to might, like a light bulb of some sort. it will all come to me at once. i cant wait until that happens so im going to continue on this journey. i think this book is secretly helping me learn about myself.
